Welcome to Western Mass. CYO Basketball
Western Mass CYO is a program of over 3,000 young people from 26 cities and towns from across Massachusetts. CYO started after World War II, when young men returned to our area after the war. Today, kids from South Hadley, Ludlow, Longmeadow, Wilbraham and others compete together in spirit of competition. These young people compete in CYO up until high school in their various communities. Families get together and it is our hope that these family friendships will last a lifetime through school, marriage, and life.
CYO is one of the largest family orientated youth programs in the country in a positive Christian way. Many of our national leaders competed in CYO such as the Vice President of the United States, senators, mayors and representatives. This we hope has helped make our country a better place to live, work and play.
